Report by Justin, KD7ZDY

(NOTE: Justin sent me the following email)

Hi! Name here is Justin and age is 14. You may or may not want to post this I dont know how recent the others are.

What is Ham Radio without CW? Nothing! It's what the radio pioneers strived on. The great feeling of decoding messages which others are dumbfounded by is infinitely pleasing. CW is music to my ears and I certainly hope others feel the same way!

You may want to take note that I will soon be receiving a new vanity call since I just upgraded to General and that I am very close to the age of 15.

(NOTE: I emailed him back asking for a bit more info and Justin replied)

Ok John, I just got done having a nice hour long QSO on CW so its fresh in my mind.

I love to get home and tap out CQ on the magic brass key in my shack. When I hear a reply my heart jumps because my call can be heard anywhere in the world with fractions of the power that it take to light a light bulb. I love CW because I can talk to strangers that I share the love for CW and ham radio with. CW in my opinion is the backbone of ham radio.

I just saw the post and had to post somthing in hopes to get others to join the band wagon.
