I have built one of these (HSC Pixie 2) and a similar radio called a fox 3. The fox worked first time without a hitch. The pixie, although a simple rig perhaps simpler than the fox 3, is a great value for $10. It makes a great packalong radio for extended outings where space is a premium. I am still trouble shooting mine and expect to have it in dedicated service soon. Perhaps the only limitation to this radio is on website assistance from the seller, but plenty pa advice is available on QRP-L or the G-QRP list. Well worth the cost for the patient.
