I am enjoying exploring your site. Thank you for your list of sites for learning the code. The "Just Learn Morse Code" appears to be the best for me. I'm an older guy (74) trying to learn the code and age does create some challanges, for me anyway. - Tom Edwards KI4NQJ - Sherrills Ford, NC - Sep 4
Hey John, Just wanted to let you know I enjoy reading all the information on your website. In recent weeks, I check your diary every day on my lunch hour to see how the DX streak is coming. I'm relatively new to QRP and started working on my QRP DXCC and WAS primarily due to reading about the success you've had. since 2/16 I've worked 41 states and 43 countries with 5 watts and a vertical and I'm having a lot of fun with it. Thanks for the inspiration! - Eddie Bradshaw, KJ4R - Sumter, SC - Sep 1

Thanks for all you do for AR & QRP, John. Been working the Sprints a couple of years now and really like the QRP operation. Don't do much rag chewing, mostly Sprints, SOTA, and DXpeditions (QRO). Have done some NPOTA this year. After 53+ years of hamming QRP bit and I have a renewed interests in AR. I've looked at other QRP sites but seems yours' is the most interesting and fun. Again, thanks for all your efforts. 73 de n4mj//glenn - Glenn, N4MJ - South Fulton, TN - Aug 20

Hi John, Thanks for QSO. There was some QSB and a couple times someone keyed on top of you. I have been mostly QRP since beginning in 1976, but run more power from the F-150. We had never worked before, but I have been to your web page many times. 73, Tim ke4ke.org - Tim KE4KE - Waite Park, MN - Jul 28

Thanks for the work on your site, I have been a radio amateur since 1982 and SWL for years before that. I passed the 12 wpm morse test 30 years ago but have never had the confidence to use it for real. I have not let it go though and listen often and can copy some signals really well just need to get on the band I guess 73 de Mike G4VQH - Mike G4VQH - Whixall, England - Jun 4
I have a Yaesu Ft-817 that works well for me. I enjoy my home built dipoles. 40 M favorite. Then 20 Meters. 73s KF4ILV - Robert Powell KF4ILV - McDavid, FL - Jun 4
When did you first hear CW? For me it was as K4KKQ, teenager, in the mid 50's, at Norfolk, VA, the Naval Air Station, in the Ham Shack. The Navy CW ops were exceptional! The CW ops could, and would operate at 65 wpm. They could and would give lessons, demos, QSO, at any speed. Just 13 years from WWII in the Pacific, on Carriers, Destroyers, and Submarines, these radio ops had three things going for them that I never had (1) Talent (2) Opportunity, (3) the Motivation that Only Comes from Knowing there are Incoming Torpedoes !!! - KK4LPG - Memphis, TN - Jun 4
Have looked at your website a few times. Very interesting. Was in the NAQCC site to sign up, thought I would check if I was a member. Surprise #0950!!! That's what happens when you are really pushing 80!! Hope to be active in the sprints with my K2 & KX1. Should be lots of fun. Am looking forward to ARRL FD CW '16. Hope to work you in FD or one of the Sprints. 73 de Marv W0YHE - Marv Holmes W0YHE - Florence, AZ - May 31
hello! - carlo IZ4SJP - Bologna, Italy - May 22
tu, 73, shalom - 4x5eb - Jerusalem, Israel - May 22
I agree with your comments about QRP. I have always felt that if you have a well designed receiver and a resonant antenna, xmit power is not a factor. I love to homebrew my projects, probably more that operating and that would be CW only, can't find my mikes HI HI 73's Jack - Jack Kelvington K3DMY - Meadowlands, PA - Apr 22
