This section demonstrates what can be done while operating CW with QRP and simple wire antennas from a less than ideal location. If you're in a situation similar to mine where you can't run high power or put up big antennas, check out all the information. You'll see that you can still succeed and derive much enjoyment from ham radio. I hope that showing my results will encourage you to give minimal QRP a try. Many of the accomplishments of someone using such a simple setup are due to the operator at the other end of the contact. It takes skill to copy a signal that often is right at the local noise level. My DXCC, Millennium DXCC, Milliwatt Lists, WAC, WAS, and WAZ tables recognize those operators by listing their calls.
